So what about your electric drive time? If you’re a Toyota Hybrid Electric driver you could win some great prizes in our new competition – The Toyota Hybrid Nation!

We believe that hybrid electric is the ideal way to switch from a petrol or diesel car to a more sustainable way of motoring. Hybrid Electric cars emit less CO2 and less NOx than petrol and diesel cars, making our roads safer for everyone, and reducing emissions for the planet. They also use less petrol, meaning lower fuel costs.

Share your electric drive time with us

The latest generation of Toyota C-HR, Corolla, Yaris and Yaris Cross hybrid models all feature an EV Drive Time reading on the dashboard at the end of each journey, making it easy for drivers to track the percentage of time they spend driving with zero emissions. Read on to see how you can find your EV drive time.

How to view your EV percentage drive time

Please note that EV% drive time is only available on Yaris Hybrid (from December 2020), Yaris Cross (from December 2021), Toyota C-HR (from October 2019), Corolla (from September 2020) and RAV 4 (from December 2022)

    1. Start your Toyota Yaris Hybrid
    2. Using the control panel on the left- hand side of your steering wheel scroll up to the Eco icon, represented by a leaf.
    3. Using the left / right arrows, scroll to the screen which shows your EV Drive Time %

    1. Start your Toyota Yaris Cross Hybrid
    2. Using the control panel on the left- hand side of your steering wheel scroll to the Eco icon, represented by a leaf.

Hybrid Nation competition terms and conditions

This activity is available only on certain Toyota Hybrid Electric models:
Please note that being able to see and note your EV% drive time is only available on certain models of Toyota Hybrid Electric cars; the Yaris Hybrid (from December 2020), Yaris Cross (from December 2021), Toyota C-HR (from October 2019), Corolla family (from September 2020) & Corolla Cross (from April 2023) This competition is for non-plug in Toyota Hybrid Electric model drivers.

Be in with a chance to win a €200 Gift Card every month from June 2023 to December 2023 with Toyota Hybrid Nation; a competition that celebrates our drivers EV % drive time without ever plugging in.  

To enter, please share a photo of your EV % Drive time that you’ll find on your Toyota Hybrid Electric dashboard after any journey where you are driving for more than 20 minutes and share it with us by emailing hybridnation@toyota.ie  please include:

  1. Name
  2. Email
  3. Toyota Hybrid Model and year
  4. A photograph of your EV% drive time from your dashboard after any 20 minute journey. You’ll find the instructions on this webpage and if you have any problems feel free to ask any questions at hybridnation@toyota.ie
  5. Let us know if we can publish your EV % drive time on our social channels if you win a prize – see directly below.

 

We would like to be able to publish the winning entries on our social media channels, but you will not be identifiable. We will only use your first name, your county and a photo of your EV % drive time.  Example : Niamh from Laois, did 67% in her Toyota Yaris Hybrid Electric and has won this month’s Hybrid Nation prize! Congratulations Niamh.  

The winners will be contacted by Toyota Ireland and the prize delivery will be arranged. Winners addresses and information will not be shared. This competition is only open to people in the Republic of Ireland.

A winner will be selected every month, the competition ends on the 31st of December 2023.


*EV drive time is a feature available with the Toyota Yaris Hybrid, C-HR, Yaris Cross RAV 4 and Corolla models. To qualify for entry, customers must drive for a minimum of 20 minutes.
